Slurry Tank Design
The MANCON tank can sit on a 100cm wide ring-beam with the internal void of the concrete ring being filled with compacted hardcore and sand. This means that the civil engineering costs are lower than those of a linerless slurry tank.
Galvanised steel is sourced in coil form and punched, corrugated and curved during our manufacturing process to exacting standards. The corrugated steel is then Powder coated on both sides ensuring excellent corrosion resistance.
High tensile bolts are used to construct the MANCON tank; the standard liner is made using 1.00mm EPDM and other liner types are available.
The choice of liner will depend on the specific application.
These liners are all approved for the storage of slurry, with excellent UV, abrasion and cut-through properties.
