Transitional Emergency Shelter
In response to the 2004 crisis in Darfur, we started to develop an emergency shelter which could be enhanced with local materials.
Three years ago The Shelter Centre in Geneva was commissioned to lead a project to engage humanitarian agencies and manufacturers in the development of air-liftable shelters which could be transitioned to something more permenant in a similar way.
Evenproducts is engaged in this development project and welcomes approaches from humanitarian agencies interested in further development of this type of shelter.
